We are seeking an innovative, motivated, and organized Director of Fund Development who has a strong interest in fundraising and racial equity. The successful candidate will have experience with developing and implementing fundraising strategies, managing donor relationships, and working with community partners to advance racial equity initiatives.

- Written and verbal fluency in another language, a huge plus
Essential functions and responsibilities
Design and implement fund development strategies in collaboration with the Inclusive Data team. This includes identifying potential funding sources, developing grant proposals, and creating fund development materials.
Manage and compose grant applications using comprehensive research and strong writing skills. This includes conducting literature reviews, ensuring all grant requirements are met, and submitting applications within deadlines.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with funders and clients through regular communication and updates on Inclusive Data's work and impact. This includes organizing and coordinating events and meetings, as well as preparing and delivering presentations.
Contribute to the development of communication materials to support fund development efforts. This includes creating marketing collateral, writing articles for publication, and participating in conferences and other professional development opportunities.
Provide Technical Assistance and Capacity Building services to community-based organizations, which may involve conducting workshops, offering guidance on best practices, and assisting with other aspects of capacity building.
Participate in strategic planning and provide input on funding priorities. This includes attending team meetings, presenting fund development updates, and working closely with the Inclusive Data team to ensure alignment with the organization's mission and goals.
Depending on the needs of the organization, the Director of Fund Development may be asked to supervise fund development staff members. This may include training and mentoring staff, providing guidance on fund development strategies and procedures, and reviewing and providing feedback on their work.
The Director of Fund Development may be asked to perform other duties as assigned by the organization's leadership. These duties may include participating in program evaluation, preparing materials for presentations, and assisting with other administrative tasks as needed.

Exempt Location: Washington State or Remote
