What's TA and why do I need it?
TA means free grant help
Technical Assistance (also called "TA") is one of the easiest ways to get free funding (grants, loans) help. The funder hires experts to help you win funding.
These experts may be called "TA providers", but here at Inclusive Data we usually just call ourselves "grant helpers". We can help you tell your story, find data, and even edit your grant applications.
TA is best for people who have smaller businesses and smaller nonprofits. That's usually who needs the help the most! If you’re new at securing funding, TA is a good option to start as soon as possible. The more time you have with TA, the more we can help you get funded! You can sign up to be notified here.
Note: TA works particularly well if you already have a clear vision of what you want. If you don't, we recommend asking if your grant helper offers free vision sessions. We do.
The reason behind TA is very simple: securing funding is hard unless you have some effective help that can speak your language. We specialize in Black communities, a group that is often underfunded. In our experience, Black communities benefit funders who pay experts to deliver TA that creates strong collaborative relationships and fosters healing. That's our jam.
If you know a funder or applicant who needs help getting funding into Black communities, tell them "Don't Delay, Get TA!". Then slide them our info, or send them this page!
